Chopper bicycle
When I was twelve years old I got Inspired by extreme motorcycles and designed a chopper bicycle. When I was in my last year of high-school I decided to build it.

First of the frame had to be hand made from aluminum tube. I printed off a 1:1 scale model and trough bending I curved the tubes to fit precisely. Unfortunately I can't weld aluminum so I had this done. I 3D modeled the springer steering so the steering plates could be water cut to fit perfectly. The rear tire is form a Ducati 400 but the rim had to me be made I did this by cutting a 16" BMX rim down the middle and welding the wider plate in there. The saddle was customized with a spring to make riding the bike more easy. All the wood parts ware made trough boiling and layering 1mm birch. All the wires run trough the frame to create a clean look with a old school light switch. The brake is a V brake with the handle of a Solex and the lock chain runs trough the middle tube to keep the clean look. I grinned down all the weld to create a seamless frame before I painted all the part myself.

Building this bike learned me a lot prototyping skills, techniques and how to work with different materials. I was really pleased with the end result of my first build bike.
