Water toy

The assignment was a group project in which we had to create a water toy for the target group: children around the age of 10.

My roll was the one of project leader, this meant I had to set up the research appointments and make the dissections around the design. 



We did field research at multiple toy stores to find the variation in types of water toys. Also we went to a primary school class and brainstormed with a class full of 10 year olds and letting them draw up an idea as well. 



We finaly came up with the concept of a swimming pool toy that would exist of modular part. The product uses EPP gas injected foam connection parts together with the current existing foam tubes. In this way the children can creates any product where they would be able to play on and at the same time learn about constructions as well.
