Structured product styling
During the Minor all-round design we had a subject called Structured product styling. The subject was set up to learn us about different methods to style new products within the same shape.

We had to choose one of six shapes given to us to alternate. I choose the square with the cylinder on top (see gray image) And we had to make sketches using the 8 different methods: 'Straight lofting, Pattern, Common surface, Exchange features, Subtract third object, Subtract one, Use, common material and Use metaphor' but preserving the shape of the product.

I choose to combine the methods: material and common surface to create a minimalistic design within the given shape.
